Sharing The Care is a professional service that is available throughout County Wexford and its borders. Nurses and Carers provide flexible working hours offering part time care, respite care or full time care, 2 to 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week.

What is Home Care?
Home Care is the service provided by the Sharing the Care team. It is all about sharing the care of a patient in the familiar and comforting surroundings of their own homes. It can involve care provided by home carers or by nurses or both, depending on the needs of the patient. The level of care and type of care given is determined by the team manager, Sharon Bolger, who visits the patient in their home to discuss their needs. Following the first visit, a plan of care is developed for the patient based on the information they have given. The plan is discussed and agreed with the patient and the care programme begins as soon as they wish. It is as simple as that. Click here for further information.
